Second, the basic principle of the sensor

The ZDY-G fiber - optic current sensor adopts the reflective optical path scheme, which is based on theAmpere 's law of loop and the Faraday effect of magneto-optical (as shown in the figure) for current measurement. It detects two beams transmitted through an optical fiber arranged around a current-carrying conductor. The magnitude of the phase difference formed between the polarized lights to indirectly measure the current value. The optical fiber not only functions as a transmission signal, but also functions as a basic sensing element, so it is essentially a functional optical fiber sensor.
